i've finally finished blushing. his words (& those of other idm-ers
who contact me directly each time i e-mail reviews) were very kind & i
appreciate being valued by people who's creativity already holds my
respect. one minor point by way of response: for many unpleasant reasons i
rarely write for the uk press, & even then don't get paid.. but can the
on-line community offer more opportunity? the implications of a
communications medium that's accelerated, unedited & out of control, are
yet to be fully realised. so if you're an editor head hunting contributors,
an independent label in need of experienced press agents, an electronic
librarian eager to archive material, or just plain interested in connecting
& creating, let's get together. by dipping toes into the datastream, i'm
intrigued by the possibilities. reading the posts of other idm-ers i
recognise an immense array of awareness, creativity & wisdom. yet how do we
reach beyond our wired impoverished elite? let's get moving. ciao, *des*
